Upea kokemus: Fantastisch organisatie, zowel Voigt als Ruka Safari. Totaal ontzorgd, activiteiten kun je zelf (van te voren) plannen. Je wordt bij pickup punt opgehaald. Duidelijke instructies en benodigde materialen zijn erg prettig en goed georganiseerd.

Upea kokemus: Whilst staying in Ruka village, we did 4 separate activities with Ruka Safaris and every one was just wonderful! We went on snowmobiles to the reindeer farm, which was a wonderful experience, if I go back I'd love to do the 100+km trip instead. Feels like an adventure going through the Finnish countryside in our little convoy! Harri and Salla made us feel safe and (like all Finnish people we met) were friendly and informative! Then we went cross country skiing with Maarit. I'm not a skiers, so was a bit apprehensive about this one, but it was a blast! Maarit gave us lots of info about the local area and animals and although it was a cold day, you work up quite a sweat doing this activity! Maybe one day I'll be able to get up on my own after falling!!! We then did the nighttime snow shoeing into the woods. Although it was cloudy, we'd been lucky enough to see the northern lights earlier in the week. Salla and Ville took us to a communal tent in the middle of the forest for the ubiquitous hot juice by the fire. We learned a lot about the local animals and plants, and walking with snowshoes was remarkably easy! Lastly we went Fat -biking with Emil. This was maybe the physically toughest as we went for the non-electric bikes! Obviously we stopped for a fire and hot juice and sausages, and the latter bit of the trail was nice and technical and twisty, really enjoyed this! Emil was fun and really pushed the group! I'd love to come back and do more in Ruka with Ruka Safaris. The Finnish people are so welcoming and friendly, you guys really made our trip a delight!!!! Thanks everyone!

Upea kokemus: Wir haben eine Schneemobiltour und das Ice-Fishing gemacht. Gute Angaben im Voraus zur Tour. Kleidung gab gut warm. Guides waren sehr freundlich und die Aktivitäten machten grossen Spass. Top Service!

Negatiivinen kokemus: Vor vier Monaten eine Snowmobil Safari gebucht. Die ganze Reise um die Tagestour herumgeplant. Am Nachmittag vor Tourbeginn kam die Absage. Und angeblich wurde versucht, mich telefonisch zu erreichen. Mich hat keiner dieser Firma angerufen. Jetzt sind sie sich nicht mal sicher, wie sie mir das Geld erstatten. Ganz sicher niemals wieder Ruka Safaris.

Upea kokemus: We did 5 activities with Ruka Safaris during our 1 week stay (the trip as a whole, including the activities, was booked beforehand by a travel agency): - snowshoe walk (we got lucky and saw some beautiful northern lights, but even without those the trip was amazing!) - husky safari 10km - snowmobile tour - sauna experience with ice hole + whirlpool under the stars - visit to the reindeer farm We loved all these activities, they were a very fun way to experience Lapland and the guides were, without exception, super nice, always happy to help and to chat. All activities include some sort of break, mostly over a fire with some snack and a warm beverage. We personally did not always need the break and/or sometimes would have liked to do more of the activity instead, but that's personal opinion. Overall, would highly recommend!

Negatiivinen kokemus: No pickup for snowshoe trip, no contact, no nothing - despite booking confirmation. A no go.

Upea kokemus: We had a fishing experience with guide named Kai, It was amazing! The location is beautiful, Kai was really fun and smiley, helped and explained everything. We were a bit late and Kai gave us some additional time to stay on the lake and fish. I highly recommend.

Upea kokemus: Alles aan deze reis met Ruka Safaris was fantastisch!! Het is zo'n sprookjesachtige omgeving! Op de avond dat we aankwamen zagen we al direct het noorderlicht! We hebben zóveel leuke activiteiten gedaan, en vrijwel na elke activiteit lekker een vuurtje maken en een worstje grillen of de bekende 'berry juice' drinken! Alle activiteiten waren tot in detail goed verzorgd en de guides hebben veel kennis en ervaring! Mijn top 3 allerleukste activiteiten waren: 1. Sneeuwscootertocht naar de Russische grens 2. River floating 3. Sneeuwschoenwandeling in het donker Over het ontbijtbuffet waren we ook erg enthousiast, erg veel lekkere dingen om te eten en drinken, erg uitgebreid! Ondanks dat het begin van de week erg koud was (-25°C hebben we zelfs gehad), hebben we het niet koud gehad dankzij de warme thermopakken en wollen sokken die je van het park mag lenen! Ook waren er sjaals, wanten en sneeuwschoenen. Mocht je twijfelen over deze reis: ik zou het gewoon doen! Het is een onvergetelijke bestemming, supermooie natuur, bergen sneeuw en leuke activiteiten!!

Upea kokemus: We had an AWESOME vacation. Excellent place to stay and experience the real Finnish culture. We did river floating, ice fishing, snowshoe walking, reindeer feeding and ofcourse the most fun activity of all: snowmobiling (introduction and trip to the Russian border). The trip to the Russian border really is a must do! You drive through the most beautiful winter landscape you've ever seen with very high trees completely covered in snow which become spectacular sculptures. The speed is also quite a bit higher (if you want) and when crossing the lakes they allow you to go full throttle (101 kmh measured on GPS :-). All guides are very kind and have lots of knowledge. I can also recommend the breakfast. Totally awesome holiday and a well earned 5 star review for Ruka Safaris!

Très mauvaise expérience sur cette activité qui ressemble plus à un « attrape touriste »… Pourtant les expériences antérieures étaient rassurantes… Y aurait-il eu un changement de Direction dans cette entreprise?… Enfin, pour l’instant c’est à éviter tout simplement. Passez votre chemin chers touristes.

Negatiivinen kokemus: Quelle déception ! Cette agence est un attrape touristes qui est complètement à fuir ⛔️⛔️⛔️ Publicité mensongère, les descriptions des activités sont bien trompeuses et très cher pour une arnaque. Je déconseille fortement !!!

Negatiivinen kokemus: Agence a fuir largement : 2 excursions réservées pour la même journée, celle prévue le soir payée plus du double avec promesse d’une expérience plus longue et plus étoffée, il s’agissait en fait de la même activité, similaire en tous points ! Conclusion, une belle escroquerie, piège à touristes, et sans aucune possibilité de négociation avec le prestataire sur place. Je déconseille fortement !

Upea kokemus: einfach PERFEKT.....ein riesen Erlebnis Hundeschlitten-Safari, Snowmoblie, Nordlichter. Traum Wetter, Sonnenschein bei minus 20 Grad. Wir kommen wieder

Positiivinen kokemus: Paikkaa ei meinannut löytyä ollenkaan,huonosti merkattu sijainti, muuten hyvä reitti, tosin kuluneita paikkoja paljon , varmaan paljon käytetty, mutta nyt olisi aika vähän kunnostaa reittiä ja kunnon opasteet parkkipaikalle ja reitille

Upea kokemus: My son and I spent a week in beautiful Lapland and have had the best possible time. A very pleasant and professional organization, always on time and with all the comfort you may expect. We also had the pleasure of meeting with Anton on multiple occasions as our tour guide: he taught us cross country skiing, took us for a moonlight sledge to watch the northern light and made us enjoy the Riisitunturi National Park during a snow shoe hike. Anton is a very energetic and inspiring guide, explaining us as much as he can and taking us off the beaten tracks when ever possible. If I ever go back, and I will, it is due to Anton, and I will call Anton in advance for his advice and further guidance.

Upea kokemus: We went on a private snowshoeing tour to Riisitunturi with Piritta as our stay in Ruka was short and there were no organised group tours available. It was one of the most magical experiences because not only was the hike beautiful, Piritta was an excellent guide. She was very patient and never rushed us though we are not super physically fit. She shared with us alot on trees and nature and is quite a humorous person! We are very fortunate to have her as our guide!

Upea kokemus: Afgelopen week met Ruka Safari’s diverse trips gemaakt. Allemaal leuke en professionele gidsen. En elke trip bevatten ook een hapje en een drankje. Topper was wat mij betreft echter Ralf. We zijn met hem wezen ijsvissen en hebben de noorderlicht tour gedaan. Wat een leuke vent en wat een enorme kennis over van alles. We hebben onder andere uitleg gekregen over het hele zonnestelsel. En boven al, veel vis gevangen EN het Noorderlicht gezien.

Upea kokemus: We had a daytrip with Ralph to the national park. Oulanka and an evening hike to the northern light. Ralph is an excellent guide, knows all about the stars and nature. Both activities were very pleasant and informative due to Ralph’s knowledge humor and his ability to understand the group hè ‘s guiding.

Positiivinen kokemus: Nice experience, snowscooter was exciting and the snowhike was amazing. Especially because of Ralf his knowledge about nature and his gift to explain everything understandable. This really made it an inspringing experience. Being on a starlight sledge on a foggy night was just a waste of time and money. when the chances of seeing stars are 0, I recommend to stay home.

Positiivinen kokemus: Wir buchten eine Snowmobile Safari. 18 Scooter quälten sich in einer langen Reihe durch den Wald. Ständig wurde angehalten und gewartet. Mehrere Hundegespanne kamen an einer Engstelle entgegen. Die meisten Teilnehmer fanden es langweilig. In einer Kote mit offenem Feuer gab es einen Becher Kräutertee und einige Kekse.

Upea kokemus: Olimme "kelkkakurssilla" opastus todella ensiluokkaista tämän kurssin käytyä on helppo lähteä yksinkin kelkkailemaan. Henkilökunta tosi mukavaa, suosittelen lämpöisesti tätä paikkaa!

Upea kokemus: Aivan törkeen hyvä palvelu, erittäin kohtuu hintainen ja helppo lähteä. Kävimme Rukan ympärys reitin mieheni kanssa omilla kelkoilla. 2h riitti just hienosti tankkauksineen. Suosittelen!!! Bensoineen alle 170e/2hlö omilla kelkoilla! Jos menee rukan ympärysreitin, kannattaa lähteä pihasta oikealle, tällöin vähemmän kumpareita ja kahvilat vähän myöhemmin...

Upea kokemus: Booked the ice fishing trip with Ruka Safari's. Was amazing, very nice people and the pick up was on time and in a very nice bus.

Upea kokemus: Onwijs toffe vakantie gehad mede dankzij Ruka safaris. Mega aardige guides en de ondernomen activiteiten (huskyslee 10km, sneeuwscooter introductie / tocht naar Russische grens en sneeuwschoenwandeling) waren stuk voor stuk goed georganiseerd! Met name de sneeuwscootertocht naar de Russische grens en de husky’s zullen we niet snel vergeten. Bedankt!

Upea kokemus: Wir haben die Motorschlittenfahrt gebucht und waren begeistert. Sehr nette und professionelle Guides (Konstantin und Santtu) die uns eine super Einführung in bzw. für die Motorschlitten gegeben haben und mit uns durch die wunderschöne Landschaft gefahren sind. Nach der Tour gab es noch heißen Beerensaft und Zimtschnecken. Toll und absolut empfehlenswert!

Upea kokemus: Used the service of ruka safaris during my christmas holiday end of 2019. Lot's of P words here, Perfect, pleasant, Precise, .... Their timing is great. After a trip a bus is waiting to pick you up. It's all about details, there's are really the best in town. I hired clothes and everything was fine. Thanks for the great experience.

Upea kokemus: Went on great snow mobile safari with them, it was so well organised, and the guides were really friendly.

Upea kokemus: Top Empfehlung... hatten die Tour mit den Motorschlitten zu der Rentierfarm unternommen. Super Einweisung...25 km hin... natürlich nach dem Motto "alle fahren so schnell wie der langsamste"... aber keine Angst, denn bei der Rückfahrt wird in zwei Gruppen zurück gefahren... zum einen, wie zur Hinfahrt mit ein wenig mehr Geschwindigkeit und in die andere Gruppe heißt es "Gib Gas" - für jeden also was dabei. Auf der Rentierfarm angekommen wird man herzlichst begrüßt, darf selbst ne Runde im Rentierschlitten drehen... wärmt sich am Feuer bei ner Rentierwurst und Tee, Kaffee, warmen Saft ein wenig auf... bevor man die Rentiere füttern kann...inkl. schöner Selfies :-) Anschließend geht es ohne Druck 25 km zurück... kurz um: Kein preiswerter, aber defintiv herrlicher Ausflug. PS: Wär denkt, dass die zusätzliche Versicherung überflüssig ist, dem kann ich als Anfänger nur empfehlen ernsthaft drüber nachzudenken. Gab bei unserer Tour einen üblen Crash. Also unterschätzt die Gefahr nicht und es wird ein geiler, unvergesslicher Ausflug für die gesamte Familie.

Kaikki toimi hyvin, kuljetus oli ajallaan ja kaikki varusteet oli kunnossa. Kaikkien kansss käytiin läpi varusteet ja turvallisuusohjeet.

Negatiivinen kokemus: The rafting tour of „3 hours“ consisted of an hour drive with the organisers van to the river (back and forth), an hour of walking back to the van from the end of the rafting tour and hiking to a waterfall as well as one hour in the rafting boat. Of these 60 minutes we were driven for 30 minutes by a motor adjacent to the rafting boat through the lake/river until the rafting tour of once 30 seconds and 4 minutes ocurred. It would have been fair to advise that the real rafting part within the „3 hours“ rafting tour consists if a total lenght of 5 minutes so that you know what to expect.
